Introducing Isabel Richter as new Head of Sustainability Communications at the BMW Group
The BMW Group is committed to making a sustainable impact, and their recent appointment of Isabel Richter as Head of Sustainability Communications demonstrates their dedication to this cause. Effective 1 September 2023, Isabel took on the responsibility of developing, coordinating, and implementing sustainability messaging across the organisation. Isabel will be working in the main department of Alexander Bilgeri, Vice President Communications for Human Resources, Production, Purchasing, and Sustainability.
Isabel brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously worked at Microsoft Germany where she was responsible for economic and corporate strategy topics. As Corporate Communications Lead, she spearheaded efforts in cybersecurity, digital transformation, AI, corporate citizenship, and sustainability. At the Berlin location, Richter led a digital policy dialogue with press, policymakers, and society, establishing digital public affairs.
Before her tenure at Microsoft, Richter was Head of the Environment and Sustainability division at BITKOM, a digital association in Berlin. Throughout her career, Richter has been dedicated to creating a healthier planet and her commitment shines through in her work.
Her extensive experience and expertise make her a valuable addition to the BMW Group's sustainability efforts.
