The BMW X2 is the pioneer of the Sports Activity Coupé (SAC) in the premium compact segment. Its second-generation moves up a notch with a more distinctive, sportier and forward-looking design. Featuring larger dimensions and a prominent coupé silhouette for an enhanced exterior look. But it doesn’t stop there. The BMW X2 also offers an electric variant, the BMW iX2, and a range of advanced features for automated driving and parking. Plus, with the innovative new BMW iDrive and BMW Operating System 9, you'll have access to cutting-edge digital services.
Exterior design
The BMW X2 is an instantly recognisable Sports Activity Coupé (SAC), thanks to its distinctive design that stands out from the X1. With 194 millimetres of added length, 21 millimetres more width, and 64 more millimetres in height, passengers will appreciate the extra space and 560 – 1.470 litres of load capacity. Its upright front end exudes confidence and presence with striking LED headlights and a hexagonal BMW kidney grille featuring Iconic Glow contour lighting. It features dynamically stretched lines and generous surface treatments that create a slim, coupé-style silhouette. Customers have their choice of two solid and eleven metallic paint finishes for the exterior, including BMW Individual special paint finishes.
Interior design
The new BMW iX2 boasts a modern and sporty interior. With features like the BMW Curved Display and floating armrest with controls, it offers a modern and premium ambience. Customers can choose from a range of seating options including Veganza perforated variant and Vernasca leather with attractive quilting. Enhanced comfort and safety are also prioritised, with improvements to acoustic comfort and the inclusion of an interaction airbag.
Performance of the BMW iX2
The BMW iX2 xDrive30 boasts integrated drive units, generating a system output of 230 kW/313 hp and a system torque of 494 Nm. With its powerful 64.8 kWh battery and efficient drive system, the BMW iX2 offers a range of 417 – 449 km in the WLTP cycle. The iX2 xDrive30 achieves 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds, with a top speed of 180 km/h. Adaptive recuperation, MAX RANGE function, and advanced charging software optimize efficiency. Additionally, it supports Plug & Charge Multi Contract function and offers Connected Home Charging Package for convenient home charging.
