The new Citroën Ami – electric mobility for everyone
With the new Ami, Citroën presents an urban, all-electric model characterised by a compact design, an outstanding comfort while offering space for two people. Ami has a range of up to 70 kilometers and a top speed of 45 km/h – making it the perfect urban mobility solution. Besides Ami can be driven by anyone who is at least 16 years old and is in possession of an AM license. The all-electric AMI is based on the Ami One Concept that has been presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2019. As the interest for this concept vehicle was so high, in only one year the car became a reality – being easy to use and accessible for everyone.
Ami is the practical answer to the new mobility expectations for city traffic offering easier access to city centers while being an alternative to public transport, two-wheelers or e-scooters. Ami is fully electric which mens no CO2 emissions while being quiet. The car is charged like a smartphone. The 5.5 kWh lithium-ion battery can be fully charged in just three hours from a household socket. Due to its compact dimensions with a length of 2.41 meters, a width of 1.39 meters, a height of 1.52 meters and a turning circle of only 7.20 meters, Ami makes driving and parking in the city very easy.
