Audi House of Progress with the "The Domino Act" design installation at Milan Design week

Right now Milan Design week is taking place again (17.-23. April 2023) – internationally known for its abundance of great design creations. For this year’s Milan Design week, the Audi House of Progress welcomes visitors at the Portrait Milano spaces at Corso Venezia 11 in the heart of Milan, where you will be taken on a journey into circular economy and to discover Audi’s values that will guide the brand towards carbon neutrality. All set in a very inspiring, innovative and design-driven environment. Designer Gabriele Chiave has created “The Domino Act” installation, a series of 22 reflective monoliths arranged in a circular formation to illustrate the principles of circular design. The centrepiece of the installation is the "skysphere" concept, the brand’s first representative of a new family of concept cars that illustrates Aud’s vision for the progressive luxury segment of the future, in which the interior becomes an experience space and the vehicle an "experience device".

The installation explores Audi's concept of circularity. It provides an artistic representation of sustainability through the use of the 'domino' and highlights how decisions in one strategic field can create a ripple effect across others. Audi intends to be carbon neutral in all its production facilities by the year 2025 and to have 10 new fully electric models out on the road within the next 3 years. To achieve this, they are revamping their entire manufacturing process, starting with renewable sources and raw materials, through the supply chain to their cars' end of life.

So if you are in Milan right now, make sure to check out Audi’s impressive installation “The Domino Act” with Designer Gabriele Chiave at the Portrait Milano spaces at Corso Venezia 11.
