Polestar opened its first German Space in Dusseldorf
Last week the electric performance brand Polestar opened its first German Space in Dusseldorf. The brand brings a new and modern approach to the automotive retail – combining digital distribution and stationary trade. At the same time as the opening, the first deliveries of the Polestar 2 have started on the German market.
"The automotive industry is currently in a state of change. We, as Polestar, are actively pushing ahead with electrification in Germany and creating enthusiasm for the topic." – Alexander Lutz, Managing Director of Polestar Germany
With its innovative retail concept, Polestar sets a trend in the automotive branch. The Spaces offer consumers the opportunity to experience and learn more about the electric cars and book test drives. However at the end all vehicles, the Polestar 1 and 2 are sold exclusively online. Therefore the Spaces are more like a gallery than a classic sales area. Besides the design of the Spaces is characteristic for the brand – a minimalist, Scandinavian design focusing clearly on the products, the two vehicles.
By the end of the year, Polestar plans to build a total of 50 of these brand experience centers. Seven of them in Germany. We can’t wait until the Polestar Space opens in Berlin.
