On tour with the new unu Scooter
Last year we tested the unu Scooter Classic and were quite impressed. Find the review here. You have probably already noticed that unu launched their new generation. A few weeks ago we went to their headquarter to find out how the second generation differs from the first one.
At their office mechanical engineer Enno Müller gave us a little introduction to the new scooter and explained us all new features. What stands out most is the design, the size and the connectivity. The new scooter offers space for two people and a large storage space. Besides it has one of the fastest acceleration values in the electric scooter segment. With its own app and an integrated display, the scooter offers new smart features such as navigation, theft protection and digital key sharing. The app offers you from now on many great options, i.e. to see the location of your scooter as well as the battery charge, you can easily turn your scooter on and off and share a digital key with friends and family so they can use your scooter.
So after this little intro we left the headquarter and tested the new scooter on the street. It is very easy to use and the ride is comfortable and smooth. Its so much fun to drive the scooter and in a city as Berlin it’s the perfect mobility solution. The scooter is available from 2.799 € or 69 € per month for leasing.
To summarise we are highly impressed by the design and the smart features of the new generation and can only recommend it. The new scooter is even smoother and easier to drive. The acceleration is very fast. The scooter is the perfect mobility solution – quiet, no exhaust gases are produced, super handy, comfortable and flexible and you have no stress to find a parking spot. Especially in a city as Berlin, its often very time-consuming and stressful to find a parking for your car. However there is one thing that we really like about the unu Scooter Classic – the weight and compactness. It only weighs 57 kg compared to now 81.5 kg.
If you are interested in the scooter, you can sign up on their website for the waiting list and be the first to test the new generation.
